Module XIV

1)When I saw this list of book,the first book I became interested in was-."Hold Me Closer, Necromancer" by McBride, Lish.I would like to read this book because:
     1.I like the title of this book,it sounds rather interesting and have some intrigue
     2.I think,that the plot of this book is unusual and the denouement will be exciting and unexpected
     3.I like mystical stories
     4.I read the comment about this book,many people considered that this book is so much FUN and all the characters are engaging and likable
2)Among the name of TV shows I chose one-Once Upon a Time.I have some reason for my choise:
 1.I think the plot of this story is very extraordinary and I have never met with something like this
  2.The plot is circular,it is like one history in other
  3.The main heroine  want to help one little boy,but instead of it Emma get in the one book.She become a part of it,but she didnt knew the story
  4.I like fairy-tailes
  5.I enjoy watching a beatiful films with rich decoration
   6.I find the main heroine is rather attractive
3)I dont like playing computer games,but I chose one-Raven’s Cry.I done it,because:
   1.I like adventure stories
   2.I like pirates and all with it
   3.I think,that  graphic of this game is not bad and music is likely sound
   4.In the game we can see rare historical weapon

The favourite picture

I prefer to choose exactly this painting,because I like it very much.First of all,I want to speak about painter.He's name is Arkhip Ivanovich Kuindzhi.Arkhip Kuindzhi was born in January 1841 in Mariupol (present-day Ukraine), but he spent his youth in the city of Taganrog. He grew up in a poor family, and his father was a Greek shoemaker Ivan Khristoforovich Kuindzhi (sometimes spelt Emendzhi). Arkhip was six years old when he lost his parents, so that he was forced to make his living, working at the church building site, grazing domestic animals, and working at the corn merchant's shop. During the five years, from 1860 to 1865, Arkhip Kuindzhi worked as retoucher in the photo studio of Isakovich in Taganrog. Kuindzhi tried to open his own photographer's studio, but without success. After that Kuindzhi left Taganrog for Saint PetersburgHe studied painting mainly independently and in St.Petersburg Academy of arts (from 1868; the full member since 1893). He was co-partner of mobile art exhibitions (Peredvizhniki, a group of Russian realist artists who in protest to academic restrictions formed an artists' cooperative, which evolved into the Society for Traveling Art Exhibitions (Peredvizhniki in 1870. During this early period Kuinczhy felt Ivan Aivazovsky's influence.
Among his popular work are:Lake Ladoga (1873),The birch grove (1879),
Dnepr in the morning 1881,
Night on the Dnepr(1882)-it is my favourite one,Surf and Clouds, 1882,
Elbrus, 1890–1895,
Evening in the Ukraine (1878–1901),
Moonspots in the Forest, Winter 1898–1908.
So now, want to speak about my favourite picture- Night on the Dnepr(1882) .The painter use a dark colours to show us ordinary night on the river Dnepr.He pa int the deep of the night,when lonely beatiful moon lighted up the river.I think,it gives some mystery to this picture and because of it,this picture is attractive to me.

On the first plan we can see 12 persons.One of them is woman.The are a lot of interesting elements of arts.The painter uses round lines in the painting of people.On the back plan  Leonardo da Vinci paint a straight clear lines.The main object is a table.There are 12 persons,sitting at it.In the middle of the table is Jesus and apostles.On the right side from Jesus -his wife Maria.The creator use soft lines,mild colours.
In common with other depictions of The Last Supper from this period, Leonardo seats the diners on one side of the table, so that none of them have their backs to the viewer. Most previous depictions excluded Judas by placing him alone on the opposite side of the table from the other eleven disciples and Jesus or placing halos around all the disciples except Judas. Leonardo instead has Judas lean back into shadow. Jesus is predicting that his betrayer will take the bread at the same time he does to Saints Thomas and James to his left, who react in horror as Jesus points with his left hand to a piece of bread before them. Distracted by the conversation between John and Peter, Judas reaches for a different piece of bread not noticing Jesus too stretching out with his right hand towards it. The angles and lighting draw attention to Jesus, whose head is located at the vanishing point for all perspective lines.
I choose this paint because,the discription of it made a srong impression when I read the book -Leonardo code.This point contains a lot of symbols,a lot of different signs.For example,if we look at clothers Jesus and his wife-it is opposite.(blue and red)It is mean a difference between man and women.
